MONTESSORI PHILOSOPHY

Writing And Reading

Children need training, practice, and experience in order to develop reading and writing skills. They also need to develop their vision, sensory, and motor skills for them to learn and improve their reading and writing skills. The development of spoken language and cognitive abilities such as concentration and ability to notice details are also crucial to their reading and writing skills.

At our Montessori school, starting from a very young age, we help children to see the differences between the letters, to hold a pencil and control its movement, and to take apart or decode letters that make up words. Our comprehensive Language Arts Program offers many Montessori activities specifically designed to foster a love of the function of the words.
